Coachella 2015

Coachella, Coachella, Coachella...It's all people have been talking about lately.  This year was my 4th year at the infamous desert music festival and it was the best by far across the board.  From the perfectly warm weather and the long list of amazing artists performing to the strangely surprising Madonna-Drake make-out session during the closing act, this year was definitely one for the books.
Obviously there are mixed feelings about Coachella surfacing all over the internet, people complaining about the price and making fun of the fashion-oriented reputation that has developed around this festival in the past few years, but let me make something clear; in terms of music quality and overall execution Coachella is arguably the best music festival in America.  Not only does Coachella present flawless performances, they provide festival goers with an amazing experience.  And when it comes down to it the overall experience is really what makes Coachella unique; the fashion, the music, the weather, the art, the ferris wheel, it all comes together in this magical way to create an atmosphere that can not be duplicated. That is why I am so in love with it. Yes, Coachella has become a liiitttllee too much of a scene if you ask me.  Not to say that I don't totally buy into it, because I absolutely do, but that scene makes it what is.
Alt-J was incredible. Hozier was amazing. Milky Chance and ACDC killed it. War on Drugs, Florence and the Machine, Azelia Banks, The Weeknd, and Marina & the Diamonds were all great, great, great.
