I have an overwhelming appreciation for the effortless nature of summer clothing.  A beautiful sundress can simultaneously make you feel both chic and laid-back.  When I think of my personal style I think of it as modern yet feminine, and this dress, which is from Reformation, captures that combination very well.

What: 1. Reformation Sundress
(sold out, but similar herehere, here and here)
2. Mango Lace Sandals (here)
3. Kayu Designs Clutch (here)
4. Ray-Ban Sunglasses (here)

Why:  I am not entirely sure if Reformation started this trend, but the tie-front sundress silhouette is one of the dominating styles for sundresses this summer.  The material of this dress is a light linen material, making it ideal for hot summer days and nights. I wear so many things from Reformation because their pieces are extremely high quality and are so timeless!

Takeaway: For weddings and casual summer outings this style shows just the right amount of skin.  Midi-length and maxi dresses should be your go-to silhouette for this summer.  Not only is this style and length "in" right now, but it is also very classic and sophisticated.  I really love how designers this season are giving longer-lengthed dresses and skirts a contemporary twist with cut-out designs, high slits, and off-the-shoulder styles--make sure to hone in on these modern updates when buying longer lengths.
